About in-hospital class

The "in-hospital class" is a sick and frail classroom established in cooperation with the Yamato City Board of Education and Yamato City Hospital to guarantee the learning of elementary and junior high school students admitted to Yamato City Hospital.
School after recovering health in an education place that provides mental stability to hospitalized children and students with mental stability, assist them in accelerating their condition, and reducing learning gaps during hospitalization. It is an institution that helps you to return without resistance.

Overview of in-hospital class

Both elementary and junior high schools were established in April 1994 with Yamato Elementary School and Yamato Junior High School, and are located in the 4th floor south ward (pediatric ward).
Elementary and junior high school students who are likely to be hospitalized at Yamato Municipal Hospital for more than one month, and if a doctor gives permission to study, they can study in the in-hospital class.
In order to enter the school, you need to apply for admission before you start learning.
Also, if you enter the school, you will be treated the same as attending school.

Studying in in-hospital class

Teachers from Yamato Elementary School and Yamato Junior High School come to the in-hospital class and give classes. Learning is prioritized for treatment, and is planned according to each person's medical condition and progress of learning. If you can move, you will go to the study room, and if you have to stay at rest, your teacher will go to bedside to give classes.
